Auditioning for Planina


Planina is now scheduling auditions for a few new members. This small (8-14 members), mixed chorus performs folk music of Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Russia, former Soviet republics and a number of other countries.  The group rehearses Tuesday evenings in Arvada and appears in festivals or concerts about 14 times per year.  We’re looking for men and women who sing any part.  Essential:  The ability to sing on pitch and a willingness to experiment with different vocal placements and styles.  Previous experience in these vocal styles or languages is a plus but not required.
